Phil Knight and the University of Oregon unveiled Matthew Knight Arena Thursday night for the Oregon Ducks' game against the USC Trojans. And while the $227 million dollar arena is a state-of-the-art facility, the unique basketball court is drawing the ire of many.

After the game people had a somewhat bad opinion of the new court. In a poll on NESN voters called the new court “obnoxious and hard to look at” while other blogs websites, such as the Sports Grid said the court would cause “permanent eye damage for anyone that looks directly at it”.
The Atlantic Wire collected the reviews of the court that were posted on Twitter and they were less than stellar. Bruce Feldman of ESPN tweeted that the court was “totally bizarre” while Bobby Big Wheel tweeted that the court “looked like someone knocked over a really big can of paint thinner on Oregon’s basketball court.” Although the viewers complained of a glare from the bright unique court the glare did not stop Oregon from winning 68-62 against USC about oregon basketball court.
