Sushmita Sen plays Kapoor's wife. Paresh Rawal's character is in search of two robbers (Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna) who've looted his bank in a South African village. Because there's no light on the road! The director of this movie has delivered hits called No Entry, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng. Besides Kapoor, Rawal, Khanna (Hulchul, Hungama), Dutt (Munnabhai), you're also around diamond heist leader Suniel Shetty (Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri), Shakti Kapoor (bad-ass bumbler), Ranjeet (‘70s don), Neetu Chandra, Kangana Ranaut for bikinis…. Actors alone suposedly carry audiences into theatres. Why bother making a movie as well, telling a funny story? As Sanjay Dutt philosophises, when tied to a chair by gang-leader Suniel Shetty who pours petrol on his body, "Jalne ki jalan mein jalne jaisi jalan nahin hogi." Shetty rightly asks. Ah, the head hurts.
Made with a big budget of Rs. 35 Crores, No Problem and Anil Kapoor did everything to market the film, however on opening No Problem attracted negative reviews from the critics and gradually it reflected on the box office collections as well.
On the opening day (Friday) movie brought in Rs. 4.25 Crores, then came Saturday, where usually the difference in collections between Saturdays and Fridays is as much as two times, No Problem managed a negligible increase and registers closed at Rs. 4.75 Crores, Sunday gave producers a little hope with a total business of Rs. 6 Crores, totalling it to a Rs. 15 Crores as the first weekend business in India. Overseas movie managed to earn a total of Rs. 45 million (4.5 Crores).
There are moments in an actor's life that should make him question his judgement. That moment should have occurred to both Anil Kapoor, our very own Hollywood export, and Akhsaye Khanna, the self proclaimed actor of actors, when they fall on the bed in a tight clinch. Anil Kapoor is wearing a dressing gown which shows off just a hint of his famous chest hair. Why does Bollywood persist in believing that men in drag automatically generate laughs?
Why is an actor of the caibre of Kangana Ranaut smiling like a chump throughout the film? What is Paresh Rawal doing srying clothes on the balcony of a Durban bungalow?
Surely Anees Bazmee must be wondering why he is called the King of Comedy. That title safely now belongs to Rohit Shetty whose Golmaal series look like comedy classics compared to this nonsense. Creating mayhem on screen is not enough. Casting beauties like Sen and Ranaut is not enough. watch no problem don’t wait no problem torrent..!!
